MOUNT VERNON — Hillcrest Park was filled with bubbles, tie-dye bottles and children Friday as families gathered to participate in Tie-Dye in the Park.

Andrea Alaniz, outreach librarian for the Mount Vernon City Library, said Tie-Dye in the Park is usually the library’s biggest event of the summer.
